Yellow warning for snow issued by the Met Office
A Met Office yellow warning for snow has been issued for most of England starting at noon tomorrow, Saturday 4 January, with icy conditions forecast to continue into Monday morning.
As it stands, the forecast suggests there’s a chance of some sleet but mostly rain with the bigger impacts falling in the North of England and the Midlands. However, our highways team is on standby and ready to act, should the forecast change. Our gritters are out tonight, Friday 3 January and are likely to be out over the next few evenings treating the main A and B roads in the county.
