At Churchfields Primary School, we believe that all our pupils should receive nothing less than an outstanding education. This allows them to thrive during their childhood and ensures they gain the aspirations, skills and knowledge needed for them to be the best they can, throughout their lives. We make learning meaningful for children through shared experiences, trips and visitors. We spend lots of time learning outdoors and are privileged to have some great facilities for our pupils across the two bases including our own on-site dedicated Forest School area, an amphitheatre that was built thanks to a grant from Bath’s Theatre Royal and outdoor swimming pool. Both bases enjoy large playing areas so children can enjoy a good ‘free-range’ run around at playtime!
Churchfields has one base set in the picturesque village of Atworth (just 9 minutes away!) and one at Monkton Farleigh and children from both bases meet together often, sharing lessons, activities and ‘WOW’ days on a regular basis. It’s a thriving school with an on-site independent preschool provision at the Monkton Farleigh base called
The Lookout Day Nursery and their website is https://thelookoutdaynursery.
